“What?” She asked through chattering teeth. “What more could you possibly want from me?” She didn’t turn around as she spoke, her words being carried on the breeze.
He didn’t respond, but spun her so she faced him and took her lips savagely. Leilani fought against him, but he didn’t budge. His lips were hot and soft against hers despite the force behind the kiss, and for a moment she almost gave in, but anger took over where shock left off. It took all the strength she had, but she pushed hard enough on his chest to throw him off balance, and took the opportunity to move away from him.
His eyes were full of fire as she stood facing him, the breeze causing goose bumps to caress her wet flesh at the sight of his naked body and his very large cock which stood at full attention. “Leave me alone!” She screamed shifting her eyes back to his before she ran for her rental; never looking back again to notice his wounds were completely healed.
Hanna stood in the kitchen putting the final touches on the two large cakes she’d begun early that morning. The first was a pink explosion, finished off with a little plastic crib holding a teddy bear wearing a pink diaper. The second cake was an exact replica of the first, with the exception of coloring, everything blue.
If I were having a baby, Hanna thought, I’d want the sex to be a surprise.
Hanna sighed, stepping back to look at her masterpieces. Marilyn and Alexa, she hoped, would love them.
Why wouldn’t they? she asked herself. You’ve done a fabulous job putting together this entire dual shower.
Hanna walked outside to find the decorations still not finished. She’d given Molly one simple task, decorate the tables. The coverings were in place, but none of the centerpieces were, no confetti sprinkled, and Molly was nowhere to be found.
Hanna took a deep breath. Molly was her oldest sister, and up until about a year ago, had always been the most level headed woman she knew. Now that cupid’s arrow had struck her, she’d lost most of her brain as a side effect.
Yes, Molly and Clancy were doing great, a marriage proposal on the horizon. Marilyn, her other older sister was already married, now expecting. So was Alexa, her honorary sister because of her marriage to an old family friend. Everyone was in love, except her.
Hanna heard a giggle come from down in the garden. Rather than getting upset, she finished the decorations herself and went inside to shower. She had exactly one hour before she needed to leave for the airport.
Her gift to Alexa was going to be the best surprise ever, Alexa’s old assistant and best friend Adam was flying in for the weekend. Alexa hadn’t seen him since the wedding, and Hanna knew it would be the best gift she could give her, better than anything she could purchase from a store. Of course Alexa would more than likely cry, but they would be tears of joy, brought on by her hormonal imbalance.
Hearing another giggle filter in from the open window, Hanna let a frustrated sound escape her throat as she stomped through the house, upstairs to the shower. She turned on the water, stripped her clothes, and waited for the steam to rise before stepping into the warmth. She let herself relax as the water washed away all the stress she’d been feeling about making the baby shower a success.
She ran her to do list through her head one last time. The decorations, no thanks to Molly, were complete, the cakes ready, and the food prepared. She still had to make a few pitchers of iced tea, and lemonade, but everything else was set.
